The current site has no registration forms, comments, advertising or connected analytics. Reading does not require an account.

Reading progress

Marking a lesson complete stores its number in your browser’s localStorage. The site does not send this list to a server or synchronize it between devices. Russian and English pages on this site share the same progress. Clear it below or through browser settings.

Colour theme

Your light or dark preference is stored locally and shared by both languages. It is not sent to a server. The first visit follows the system preference. If storage is blocked, a manual selection lasts only until the page is reloaded.

Search and external links

Search runs in the browser against a downloaded index for the selected language. Queries are not sent to a separate search service. Fonts, styles, scripts and illustrations are local; reading does not depend on third-party CDNs.

Following an external link opens a different website with its own data practices. You initiate that navigation.

Server logs

The hosting provider or server may record technical requests, including IP address, time and requested path. Their content and retention depend on the owner’s server configuration. This static site does not define a server-log retention policy. Adding analytics, forms or authentication requires updating this explanation to match the implementation.
